#14 on the waiting list

Yeah, we're #14 on the waiting list and our dossier is now in Ethiopia:) We're finally moving again.

Wow! #14!!!! That is awesome! And I saw Ean's pics on Tracy's fb and didn't make the connection of you guys in the East Tn Ethiopia adoption group...how fun! I think the pictures are incredible. What a nice b-day party and a super cute little 2 yr old. :) Will you guys be at the picnic on Saturday?

Our Adoption Timeline

April 1st - Home from Ethiopia! March 11 - Confirmed Visa Interview for March 28th in Addis Ababa! March 9 - Embassy approval. February 22 - Our case has been submitted to the Embassy! January 5 - We're "travel ready" final documents complete - waiting for Embassy date! December 3rd - appeared in court to finalize (in part) the adoption. Waiting to hear when we travel back for embassy appt. November 9th - received updated health report and photos today. She's quite a slobber monster! November 1st - received word that our baby girl is now in Addis Ababa! October 21st - received our Ethiopian Visas today! October 13th - sent our Visa applications to the Ethiopian Embassy October 11th - Booked Tickets for 1st Trip! October 8th - We received our court date - December 3rd! September 15 - Submitted to court, now we wait for our official court date. August 20th - We received our referral for a sweet 4 month old baby girl. August 9th - #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! August 3 - #3 on the waiting list - AGAIN (after we climbed back up to 4 recently) July 28th - received a call from USCIS - they faxed our updated 171H. Yeah. Back on track - now just waiting for referral. July 20th - had an amazingly quick response from our social worker for our addendum. We were able to FedX our updates to USCIS today! Go team. July 19th - Spoke to soon - 171H has an error and must be corrected and we have to do an addendum for my recent job change...ah, back through USCIS we go - Ugh! July 17th - Finally we received our 171H - Yippee! July 9th - We're #3 on the waiting list! June 28th - We're #4 on the waiting list! June 17th - We're #6 on the waiting list! June 8th - We're #7 on the waiting list - and we finally have our fingerprinting appointment scheduled for 6/25! May 26th - We're #9 on the waiting list! What a great gift on Ean's 2nd Birthday:) May 13th - We're #14 on the waiting list. Dossier is now in Ethiopia. April 30th - Sent copy of passport to complete new requirements for Dossier. Now #19 on the waiting list. April 20th - We're #22 on the waiting list April 15th - Dossier approved by Holt April 14th - Sent Dossier to Holt April 12th - Homestudy Approved
